There's a certain 'strength' to this dial. It's the proportions of the indices that does it I think, combined with those hands and the framed sub-dial.
Time to give the Traditionnelle some wrist time!

all that is needed for a VC trifecta is this piece, the CdV, and the American. I am regretting a bit that I didn’t take the American platine version when I had the chance. I was on the fence and didn’t have the funds…but I should have moved things around....

True great dress watch, the railway minutes track and sub-dial, with the hour markers and dauphine hands , the overall style is conservative yet modern, if anyone remember/ care that hodinkee 3 on 3 dress watch article, it is the winner for me🤘
