I Will admit this traditionnelle open work calendar is quite impressive in the flesh.  This one was sold.  I came out empty handed for now ☺️

I really love the open faced Traditional. It looks like it has a lot of depth in the “dial”. There isn’t a seconds hand though is there, so are any of the moving parts visible on the dial side? All the best, Jon

It also is available at discount on the secondary market. Beautiful dress watch, but I agree an open face needs movement for me to be enamored. I would look down and see none. Fit well.

I would be interested to hear your further thoughts too. If there is no movement on the dial side I might be better off with a Breguet Tradition.

Both are peak VC - just like the CdV, Overseas and 1921.... The reason why VC has always been a very close second in my heart to JLC.... Looking forward to seeing which one you choose next! Thanks for the pictures, Filip

Yes. VC seems to be one of the few big ultra-lux brands offering this obsolete movement.
