New Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921.

Apr 06, 2021,23:52 PM

There are several versions which are unveiled, this year.

Two versions in white gold: 40 x 40 mm and 36, 5 mm.

And one in platinum, from the Collection " Excellence Platine":

For the record, the Platinum is not the first, as they launched the former one in 2016:

The 40 mm version is 8, 06 mm high. The 36, 5 mm version is 7, 45 mm high.

The movement is the same: Cal 4400, manual winding. And they all have a see through case back.

Best,

Nicolas

Alas it is , in this case it’s very prominent

As the design is so pure.. I never liked “explanation” on dials like: enamel, tourbillon, platinum... I find them very immature, perhaps in the late 90s😂😂😂 Mo

+1!

I do get your idea...

36.5mm for me!

This could be my first ever Vacheron!

Same

Given case size 40mm wears way too big. Grab the smaller one and throw away the strap.

Not a bad choice!

Beautiful watches.

I am really looking forward to see these.

Same for me!

the Pt applied numerals is nice & i think the earlier one in Pt was equally nice too.

for the 100 years...i wish they had an enamel version with Pt case also something that is consistent to the original dial version of 1921...for a left hander ;-) Best, mahesh.,

The dial of this Platine version has many attractive nuances compared to the regular platinum version.

But I don’t expect it to catch everyone’s interest the same. I was hoping they’d present a steel version, like they did for the CdV in the past.

Great looking watches , definitely something i would love to try on my wrist .

I do like there new models but tbh i like the older model with the blue indexes a bit more

+1. A smart offer.

That platinum ep would be my dream watch..someday..someday..

The smaller version is just perfect for me!

Amazing set of new 1921 models. George

Almost ruins the dial for me

I just don’t understand why VC thought people would want to see this marking. Maybe in person it won’t bother me as much.

100th anniversary model?

 By: MPP : April 7th, 2021-18:44
Is VC saying these are the models to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the original, or might there be another announcement later in the year revealing a LE anniversary model? I’ve always loved this watch and have been waiting to see what the annivers...

I‘m a big fan of these grainy EP dials

 By: mrds : April 9th, 2021-11:12
.... but on this 1921 I think the Pt applied indices ruin it for me. Not stealthy enough because they’re applied, no contrast either by making them blued steel or blackened. If I compare this 1921 to its older Pt sibling, I‘d go for the original one with ...

I like all of them 😜🤣

Stunning beautiful.

if they used the SAME Breguet typo for seconds track markers,

 By: patrickh : April 13th, 2021-07:06
I could be in. Unfortunately not for me.

How picky we are! ;)

the Beauty is in details

 By: patrickh : April 13th, 2021-08:33
It should be not so much difficult with these very clean dial ???

True.

 By: amanico : April 13th, 2021-08:33

Excellent pieces

 By: Ping.Timeout : April 15th, 2021-23:39
Just saw the 1921 white gold in small size 36.5. A very handsome piece - love the subtle grey dial paired with black breguet hands. Very classy - a soothing departure from the sea of green dials. I could see this would work well as dress watch casual. ...

No worries...

 By: Ping.Timeout : April 16th, 2021-04:30

That was it

 By: Ping.Timeout : April 16th, 2021-22:04

Another time! ;)
