Is it just me, or is this piece (ref. 81000) a more or less forgotten gem from Vacheron Constantin?

What a gorgeous guilloché dial! And these wonderful sword shape hands and concave fluted lugs!

I even like the way the small caliber 1400 (with its impressive sharp angles) is surrounded by a lovely guilloché ring.

Every time I see one pop up for sale I get amazed at how much fine detail and quality there is for so little money. And yet I haven't bought one either...

The problem for me is that I've never seen it in the metal (which I need for any purchase decision).
