With the interchangeable strap system, the Overseas is predestined for some interesting color options. Here’s my latest catch. This one is quite restrained, which brings all the attention to the fantastic lacquer dial. Makes the blue really pop! What are ...  

I don't know if third party mfrs could do it due to the strap change system which as far as I know is specific to the Overseas. If anybody has more information on this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Did you buy the strap at a Vacheron Constantin Boutique? And was it in stock or did they make it on your request (my understanding of a custom strap)? I’ve never seen this colour on their website, did they have more colours available apart from black and ... 

They have a whole range of colors, from different browns to grey to green to orange... I could choose the color, length, stiching color and it was made within a few weeks. With the easy strap change system, it‘s a great watch to play around with strap cho... 

It’s a shame there’s no Vacheron Constantin Boutique in Germany. But next time in London I am going to visit the boutique to order some straps for my Overseas. Maybe they will send it to me when they are finished. Imagine an orange strap with a blue dial ...
