Love the cal. 3500

I like the finishing, peripheral rotor, and power reserve. Just like the Harmony, I'll be lucky if I ever get to see one in person, but it makes me happy that it exists at all.

Personally this VC is one of the best of 2021 release so far. ...

True. I suppose the quirk makes it distinguishable

Personally So far it is the nicest release after Tudor's. Possibly the nicest chronograph release of 2021

I just saw!

Why 15 only?

The price? ;)

 By: amanico : April 7th, 2021-08:57

Quite affordable!

And why 42.5mm?

 By: mdg : April 7th, 2021-15:48
Seems excessively large...

For this movement, the power reserve is actually necessary

 By: jmpTT : April 8th, 2021-04:10
From the PDF owner’s manual, available for download on the VC website, the split seconds chronograph function should only be operated when the power reserve is between 3/4 and 1. Why download the owner’s manual? For the fantasy, of course.

Great...a watch with a function that's only available 25% of the time.

I want to time an event...quick, wind the watch!!

Style over function

I can't quite process the implications for VC of this astonishing compromise of function. One of not many.

a snip from the manual

Another surprise; running the chronograph continuously is not recommended. Blancpain, through F. Piguet, have been able to accomplish this with their rattrapante for decades. Are "ultra thin" bragging points (10.72mm cased vs 8.4mm for same movement in Ha...

Surprising, indeed.

VC needs a disclaimer on their adverts

"Do not try this at home" ;-) ...

LOL. Good one!

 By: amanico : April 15th, 2021-08:25

I think it is an interesting quirk/weakness rather than a legitimate dealbreaker

 By: jmpTT : April 8th, 2021-10:17
I don't have any automatic chronograph watches with a power reserve today, but when I did own one, most of the time the indicator showed the watch was fully charged. The related question is, "How efficient is the peripheral winder to the task of winding u...

Yes FabR

I also feel it is not clean, all I am saying that it is one of the better release this year. Perhaps they should have made it smaller and more minimalist.

This is definitely my top 3 favorite releases from Watches and Wonders this year

And one of the most impressive watch I seen from VC. If I have this kind of money, will definitely go for it.

👍👍
