I think the new steel CDV goes very well with jeans. I am wearing it a lot and find it versatile. I really enjoyed Foversta’s thorough review. Thank you for it!
In french, everything sounds better, according to my french teacher Jean.
He always made his point comparing the beautiful moment when the sun sinks over the ocean. To which the English say "dawn" (grimace on Jean's face) while the french say "crepuscule" (Jean: "cre...pus...cule!", blowing each syllable into the air with gusto...

One thing that I really like is that VC announced the watch and not even a month later it was in stores. I wonder whether the same thing will happen with the SIHH releases next year.

Hi. So sorry I just saw this. Yes I do have the gray. It doesn’t “pop” as much but I do like the pulsometer scale.
I haven’t worn the gray yet. Perhaps I will put the lighter strap on it that came with it. For some reason the hands don’t look as elegant to me. A little more industrial. Maybe I’m nit picking because it’s a lovely watch in its own right. Hope you enjoy ...

Thank you! It is a version of the current CR 1907, which I understand has now been discontinued. And, yes, happily, it is mine. I love this one!
