Help with a 6484

Jul 04, 2024,03:41 AM

I am new to the world of VC and I am utterly smitten with this ref. 6484, which includes the high-grade P453/3b movement.  I have noticed that the number on the inner case back doesn’t match the number on the movement. Is that correct for this era of watch? How does the dial look to you all? Your help and expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Yep the number will not match. One is case serial, the other is movement serial number. It’s not supposed to match.

I appreciate the feedback. Does the VC signature look correct for this era?

While the watch is in transit to me, I took the liberty of magnifying the signature ... Thoughts? ...

Great !

The other thing u can do is to request for archive extract from VC boutique, to get the reference number and year of manufacture.
