By design with the hinge back
The solid platinum hinge back is tremendous. The movement is the same thickness of course as the Patek 5970P but this piece "Feels more substantial" on the wrist thanks to the hinge back. I love that aspect of it!
Moon face
VC still has that moon face with that expression on the Traditional PC Chrono I belief they only recently discontinued that model Picture credit to Monochrome
AGREED! One of my favorites also. I bought this was many years ago and wear it often. I won’t part with it.
I love the chunkiness if it and from the side with this lugs it looks like a flying saucer with the landing gear down . This watch feels heavy, substantial and solid. Love it! Enjoy that beauty.

It is the last reference with the Platinum engraved moon phase , all that followed are white gold . You have a lot of Vacheron in your hands . ...
