Low production of ref.4178 . In about 25 years, it is puzzling to use different case manufacturers.
The following four pictures show that VC used at least two case manufacturers to make ref.4178 from the early 1940s to the early 1950s. Why?
Classicor SA (No. 143) seems to be used continuously for more than 20 years.
B. Et c. Dubois (No. 140) is rare, and I have not even seen other V&C references using their case. The writing of brand signature was very special in the late 1940s. Could you provide more examples of other V&C references about B. et c. Dubois (No. 140) case?
