I want to!
Nov 20, 2021,12:57 PM
I emailed the boutique a about an everest (I was a month late, knew I had no chance) which I did not get. When I got my QDL I was going to get an overseas- yup last summer you could call and get one, how times have changed. But for me, a sport watch with polished bezel didn't make sense. So I went this route since it was a fun casual watch not a sport watch. Everest solves that with the bezel and being all brushed. I'll buy yours 🤷♂️😁😁
So now I am moving on to another item I'd like, platinum patrimony tradinonelle small seconds. I guess those are hard to come by too🤣 The funny part is I went to manager of local pcar dealer to order 911 (Not fancy gt3 nor turbo, just an S so I can get manual)... they said maybe one will be here in a year or so 🤣🤣. Now I'm thinking ALS is the only way to get something German now! What a crazy time. I think crypto and market going up like crazy on 2 years definitely helping luxury goods!

Not something you see on here a lot. Still love it for that unique case. I'd love to have a 1921 or traditionnelle small seconds (still may add the platinum), but I don't wear clothes that would coordinate with that type of watch. ...
This one was considered...

'out there' when it debuted...and you're right, we don't see enough of them.
It's not their norm

But to me it sort of is. VC is known for unique cases and dials of which I consider a strong art deco influence. This watch has that and steel which fits my life crawling around with little kids a bit more.
Thanks!

Indeed

It came with rubber strap. Alas not the overseas mechanism.
Good point

Not often do you see a pointer date on an open date ring.
Yep!

It does wear large
By: TeutonicCarFan : November 18th, 2021-19:47
Definitely manageable, but not a dress watch.
Agreed

I got this at the boutique after calling and emailing AD over the USA. Apparently last one in NA for whatever that means. I actually called with interest in the brown overseas and was disappointed it was discontinued and still on website. This fits my sty...

You have impeccable taste, Sir.

I guess VC and Porsche give us enough time now to save up 😳 Good luck on the hunt for the Pt Traditionnelle - this one is tempting me a lot, too!
Under the radar.

Not popular means not that a watch is wrong. Several reasons, several opinions. The quai de l’ile have character, a creative watch. The grey skeletonish versions are cool. Your blue can be seen as stealth for me. A not into the spotlights watch for the fi...

Those early QDL are super unique. That was when VC was offering all these unique metals and bespoke combinations. Also I believe they had some fraud protection push as well. Mine is end of the line where they all were stainless. I believe the grey skeleto...
