It is the Overseas grey dial/titanium bezel. I resisted it's lures for almost a month before I gave in. Here are a few quick shots:...

Congrats! That buckle is cool! [nt]

It is kind of cool.

The deployant is also interesting. It is asymetrical so that the longer part rides more toward the side of your wrist.

re: Cool

I'll have to check it out the next time we have a GTG! -MW

Congrats and Enjoy

Will you be wearing it in the rubber strap more often or the leather? Can you change it yourself? Regards

I'll probably wear the rubber more

 By: rovermark : April 22nd, 2010-14:09
When I bought it I had the store's watchmaker put it on the rubber strap. Since then I have changed it back and forth between the rubber and alligator a couple of times. The change process isn't that bad. Right now I'm liking the rubber a bit more. Keeps ...

Congratulations!

I had a chance to look at one of these closely a few months ago. It is really beautiful. I love that titanium and gray combination. It's very sporty and elegant -- a good watch to wear most of the time. Congratulations and enjoy! respo

Thanks.

Great choice...

Congratulations on your new watch! Those are also some of the best photos I have seen of the SS/Ti Overseas. Thanks for sharing them here. Bill

Thanks, but I think the pictures could be better

I'll have to do some re-shoots when I get a chance. For quick and dirty these will do for now though.

When do we celebrate? . . .

. . . I'm planning on being in town with mrsnak Saturday afternoon . . . cordially, Art

What brings you to town?

 By: rovermark : April 22nd, 2010-14:19
Are you going to the Grilled Cheese Invitational cook-off? I'd like to get together at some point so you can see it since you were there when the lust first hit. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment this Saturday. I'm sure we'll have another opportunit...

The usual store visit with a twist . . .

 By: Dr No : April 22nd, 2010-21:35
. . . I'll actually be acquiring a watch this time ;-) . . .

Can't wait to see what it is!

 By: rovermark : April 24th, 2010-00:38
Is it something we looked at the last time we were together? Perhaps a little something with planetary gears?

Nope, something a bit more mundane . . .

 By: Dr No : April 25th, 2010-22:12
. . . but near and dear to my heart, nonetheless . . .

Wow! Killer combination!

I can't wait to see you wearing this! You must promise to wear this to our next GTG! The Overseas Gray is cool IMO because I love the color palette. The treatment of the steel on this watch is especially nice based on your pictures. Does it also come on a...

Thanks Daos.

 By: rovermark : April 24th, 2010-00:47
I'll wear it to the next casual GTG. It doesn't come with a bracelet. It was on a grey alligator strap and came with the rubber one as well. At some point I need to look into getting a bracelet. I don't see any reason why the bracelet from another model w...

Love it! Congratulations...sporty, yet understated. [nt]

Cool watch! I really love the ships insignia on the back. Congratulations on the new watch! Just in time for summer!

While I like the logo, I wouldn't have minded an exhibition back.

I've seen pictures of the movement, and the finish on it is beautiful. It is almost a shame that the only people who get to enjoy it are watchmakers.

I like it a lot, Mark.

Congratulations on the acquisition. It's a great combination of texture and gray scale colors that comes together really nicely. I don't know much about the watch. Would love to hear more about it. Wear it in good health! Best, CaliforniaJed

Thanks Jed.

At some point I'll have to put together a review. I suppose I should learn a bit more about it myself first though!

Congrats!

Great looking watch! I have the Generation 1 version of the Overseas. The color contrast and rubber strap option of your watch look wonderful. Makes me wonder if there is any way to modify the strap (and that very cool buckle) to be used on a Gen. 1 OS. E...

Thanks.

 By: rovermark : April 30th, 2010-00:37
It would be interesting to see if the strap would work on the old model. If the strap fit the head then the buckle wouldn't be a problem.

Congrats! The titanium bezel looks great

And the greyish dial really takes it to another level. What a beauty. And this is the first time i've seen on Overseas on the rubber strap. Congrats again! Regards, ED-209
