From my experience the tricky parts are the redial and cocktail watch. The 1002 caliber is quite a common caliber on vintage VC.

Thanks! Now that you mention it, it could be a cocktail watch. Supposedly it's from the 1960's so the 33mm diameter would not be off for a men's watch from this period. If it is a redial it could be a dealbreaker: - if everything is genuine VC and the dia...

Well I like classic dress watches, and I've been looking for one in gold. The modern pieces are a bit out of my price range, so vintage pieces seemed a good starting place. Why V&C? A bit for the history but in the end I'd say it all comes down to estheti...

and the seller promptly sent better pictures. The eagle's head on the side is definitive of French manufacture. The inside of the case back is blank. Interesting to see a maltese cross in the maker's poinçon but a quick look at Mikrolisk didn't reveal a m...

I'm still waiting for the additional pictures I asked from the seller! But It's nice to see you could have some more! I think that's part of the difficulty when one dips one's toes in the vintage market for the first time: the general lack of clear infos....

the picture of caseback isnot clearly . i guess they are france hallmark. i remember verger freres made lots of beautiful watches . but after 1950s , any other france case-maker used vc' movement ? but recently i see at least 3 pieces of vintage vc ,after...
