I've noticed that they don't advertise it openly anymore but it'd be a shame if they shut it down. They were the only ones of the big brands that do watches on commission.
The information is 100% confirmed by VC HQ directly, yes.
They sold the Cadraniers de Genève to FPJ and since then they only make custom watches, based on some classic case designs they have in a catalogue, and which one can customize a little bit (mainly dial). But you CANNOT anymore customize an existing model...

last Friday and asked about the Atelier designer Cabinotiers. They informed me that it was indeed still possible to order certain custom watches so you might want to reconsider 🤷♂️
From my understanding and what was stated in the Geneva boutique...
it is STILL possible to order ANY current watch and have in customized in their Atelier des Cabinotiers. At least that was what I understood as I am also contemplating an order of a couple custom models, one being a current 3rd generation Overseas.
Would be awesome if possible.

I fully believe you. The thing is that there are many interesting watches for a few more bucks.
With that I'm just not ready to pay the retail for this piece. Also I was informed by the concierge service that this watch is currently not available in my country.
