I saw some new Patirmony Contemporaine models that are now at retailers and VC has made a noticeable shift in the dials to a brighter, more silver finish. The dial finish is now consistant between the various Patrimony Contemporaine references (81180, 851...

in yellow gold, red gold and white gold. In case they would have the same dial, I would have not bought more than one. I think that the different dials matching with the color of the gold used is a fascinating detail. Best, Kari

on the now "older" models is one of the most fascinating and appealing aspects about those watches. It seems like the kind of detail that collectors 50 years in the future will evaluate carefully when considering their "vintage" Vacheron Constantin collec...

The updated brighter dial has that "pop" that is instantly appealing. I wonder how I will feel about it in a month or a year. Bill
