I like the design, but the movement is a weak spot

If I remember correctly, VC chose the Lemania cal. 1873 as the basis for this line. I prefer the cal. 2320 for the nicer appearance and traditional design.

Issued in 2000, this is a limited edition of 30 pieces, in platinum, with an ope worked dial. 37 mm cushion shape case. Credit picture: Phillips. It has been a very long time I didn't see one. How do you like it? Best, Nicolas ...

I could do without the open dial, but the rest of the watch is really nice. I particularly like the case and pushers. In my view, Vacheron makes some of the best, and most original cases in the industry.
One of these found me a few days ago.

It was good for it's time.

This is 90s to early 2000 quality. But looks a little rough now. With better machines and resurgence of old techniques, newer can always surpass the old stuff, if the maker puts his/her/its mind to it.
This is pretty spectacular...

Unique

Its a unique piece. I have seen it on a picture once but never in the metal. I am personally not a big fan of open worked watches but I do recognize the incredible craftsmanship that goes in. Just look at the barrel which has that engraved Maltezer Cross ...
