There must be some extra plastic/steel (?) support worked into the strap's middle indent. Doing intense research on how to get a replacement strap for the 1. gen Overseas ;-)
... for aiding me with this quick shot. I see that there indeed is some sort of metal incorporated into the strap indent. Seems that you either have to order a custom made strap or bite VC's offer for the brown strap
For me, the best looking model, those dials were really beautiful. Despite the issues with the bracelet and clasp, I like them a lot. Would love to see a 39 mm version of the same watch, new ones are nice but too thick for me. Enjoy it. Vte
Sometimes I'm thinking about to sell all the pre-owned watches which I had collected up to now for THE ONE to buy... i.e. a NEW VC Overseas 4500v or a NEW PP Aquanaut... But only A SINGLE watch to own?? I don't think so! ;-)
