Zodiac snake enamel art

Jan 03, 2020,20:36 PM

Met up again with one of the very few collectors I know of who collects enamel pieces (you might be able to guess by seeing the photos later). A particular focus, which I find interesting, is collecting the zodiacs. As always, I like his collection philosophy; focus and refined. I have seen a couple of his pieces which are equally stunning, but today I'm sharing his enamel snake by ulysse nardin. Pardon the photos as it does not do justice to the dial due to the poor lighting.

Notice the vitality and fierceness of the snake. Also, there is a nice gradient in the colours of the scale. Very beautiful.
