Ulysse Nardin launches a new Marine Torpilleur, which will be available on line, at Farfetch.com.

 A first for Ulysse Nardin, a watch exclusively available on line, for Farfetch.com.  ;

The Marine Torpilleur was launched in 2017, with a white and a black dial, without date.

The case back is solid, and engraved.

Here is the Farfetch.com version, with a blue dial, and... A date....

42 mm steel case, 50 meters water resistant, which is the case for the 2017 versions.

The other notable difference, dial and date apart, is the see through case back. I didn't receive the picture of the case back, yet.

As you can see, it is available on Steel bracelet, rubber and alligator straps.

The movement is the same, the Cal 118, with its silicon hairspring and 60 hours of power reserve.

What do you think of the fact that it is available only on line, and of the watch, of course?

Best,

Nicolas

I like the smaller size . . .

. . . 42mm and the removal of the date. As far as availability being exclusive to online, I have mixed emotions. It is a blow to dealers who have been with the brand and helped establish it over the past years. On the other hand, it is a clear developing ...

FWIW . . .

. . . I just spent a couple of minutes on the Farfetch website and it sucks. Sorry for the off-color terminology, but I was expecting a whiz-bang website, but it's not. It's kind of clumsy, to be truthful. UN (and the other watch manufacturers on Farfetch...

Hola estimado Amigo,

if you ask about the on-line sale, I dont know enough. Generaly I think this is not the way to sale high-class wristwatches. About the watch, the black one looks very good for my taste. What I do not understand are the six micro screws on the back. The ca...

Honestly, it is not terrible on this model.

On some other UNs, I have found it quite detrimental to the design. Here, it is rather discreet, and I am not bothered by it. I tend to prefer and am perfectly OK with dateless watches. But if they do not distract from the rest of the design, they don't b...

A small correction: The date is not exclusive to this edition, but ...

... was here already before the non-date versions. What we see here is a variant of the Marine Torpilleur, launched with white and blue dials AND date, 42mm case and displayback in 2016, opposed to the Marine Torpilleur Military of 2017 without date, 44mm...

The first one for me, por favor ☝🏼
