I remember Marcus wrote an excellent write up regarding the Lemania-UN-Ebel relationship. He was adamant to make the case that the Lemania was ONLY the starting point and the end result UN 32/33 is in its own right an inhouse ebauche.

It is very nice indeed, though has to go back for repair already. Out of the box the chrono zeroing function is faulty.

The thing that ties these three watches together is their DNA. They all share Lemania DNA, to be exact, Lemania 1340. The movement in the Omega Seamaster is Omega cal. 1040, it can be considered an almost identical twin of the Lemania 1340. The relationsh... 

The Regatta uses a UN-155 movement.

This is a development of the UN-153 movement which is a completely in-house movement - I don’t believe there is anything to do with a Lemania ebauche being used in the Regatta?

Sorry to report, but the UN Regatta had to go back. The chronograph function just was not cutting it. Inconsistent starts with jumping to 3-4 seconds and the same problem when when reversing from a "count down". Aside from these technical issues, the watc...
