Sunday pleasure: Ulysse Nardin Sonata in Paris.

Not a picture of the day, but the Sonata is one of these watches which are never too far from me.

It is such a wonderful and charming watch!

I just zoomed in, to see the watch.

What’s the lug-to-lug width, Nico? Please tell me that it’s <50mm, so that I stand a chance

I’ve also seen this watch on Mo (Moc), albeit a different variation.

I have to say that I’ve been smitten, BY BOTH VERSION. Depending on the lugs, I can potentiallly wear 50mm LTL on my lanky 16.5cm wrist Thanks Nico.

16, 5 cm wrist? Good! Go!

Such a classic (current and future)!

Very few watches can boast such an achievement. I'm often tempted but I wear watches on my right wrist and worry about the comfort (it was wisely conceived for right-handers to wear on their left wrist considering the chime activator/pusher).

You give me hope, Nico. I don't have any way to try one on any time soon...

By: destrodan : October 10th, 2021-18:44 picking one up would be a matter of hope. But it's so beautiful, and the chime is sublime...

Thank you for the kind offer, Nico.

It may be a while still before I travel again more broadly, but I will let you know when I make it to Paris.
