More vintage UN from 1974
I acquired this NOS piece many moons ago, as it came with COSC paper and orig hang tag. Bought in 2002, no I look at the service paperwork from UN.
At the time I was an AD for UN and had a good friendship with Rolf, Patrick and the whole team at UN. They were my fav brand if you will. So I was very excited when I came across this older, weird looking piece online. I bit, and it arrived as described NOS. I sent it in to UN service center in FL and had them service it, replace gaskets etc.
I’ve worn it sparingly since as I’m less of a bracelet guy than I once thought, opting typically for strap watches, and as my penchant for Independents has steered me in that direction with my heart, this piece gets little wrist time.
It is though, quite a special piece in the collection and I’m glad I “bit” when I did.
