Just recently I had the pleasure of spending time with UN’s US team. We had an open and frank discussion about the company’s past, present and future. I was assured that although the leadership of the brand has changed the heart and the soul of UN has
been preserved and they are committed to innovation with work ongoing.
I must say they went far to reassure me and to strengthen my faith in the brand.
While meeting them I did get a chance to see the Free Wheel.
Saw it in WG and RG.the pictures that I have seen do not do it justice. A much more striking piece then I thought. Especially the WG model with the honey combed dial. I also had not realized that there was a domed crystal that allows the wheels to be seen from different angles.

Has the leadership changed again? Still owned by Kering, correct?
The sale caused some concern around here when it was announced. Using my own judgement, has the brand moved back or forward since that transfer in 2014? Forward, easily, IMO.
No change in Kering. I was speaking about the change in leadership in the recent year.
I was concerned that the brand had lost its way but now not so. Especially with my conversation and with the release of the Freak Next. The Free wheal is also novel but more in the realm of novelty.

I own a few UN pieces and am an avid fan of the brand. I'm happy to hear the commitment to innovation continues. The people I've met that are associated with UN have all been top notch. Thanks again. M4
