I just saw that my Diver's "Chronometer birth certificate" is dated from 19th of July 2001, so the movement just passed its 17th year as chronometer. I hope its teenage years will continue so uncomplicated as they were up to now! Marcus ...  

At its zenith after revival by the late Rolf Schnyder, Ulysse Nardin had the attention of ThePuristS and other collectors in those days. Why, even I had some... Regards, MTF ...  

When searching for my Diver's papers, I found my early correspondence with Rolf Schnyder. It was an interesting time with thrilling perspectives. Marcus

Marcus, The current Mrs MTF and I stillhold 9% of the global stock of the Ulysse Nardin Lndon Exhibition Commemorative Edition. 2 of 25 pieces made..... The first gold watch that I ever got for her. Mine came a year later because she wouldn't let me borro...

Fond memories of a good period in Ulysse Nardin history with nice watches. The waves design is almost eponymous. Thanks for reminding us of past beauties. MTF

Blue was not the common colour back then.

Their Diver range certainly utilised lots of blue themes but I think blue dials in fashion had many cycles even before. The 1960s and 1970s were psychedelic times that people don't really remember because...er….they were psychedelic times (Q.E.D.) Regards...
