I own the Marine Tourbillion . . .

.   .   .   and am a big UN fan.

You are on to something, Nicolas, with the traditional lugs versus integrated lugs.  My feeling is that the Tourbillion needs a different strap that better matches its personality; specifically, a UN "sailcloth" strap like you see on the Torpillieur (and the new Freaks).  But with the integrated lug design, no such strap exists in the UN universe.

Otherwise, and not surprisingly since I own one, I prefer the Marine Tourbillion for its enamel dial, "economical" tourbillion, and especially the VERY cool hands.  I'm not a fan of blued hands (probably the only watch addict in the world who's not a fan) and find the shapely black hands with minimal lume of the Tourbillion very appealing.

Interesting post, Nicolas.  Thank you.
