I just forwarded mine from August to December a couple minutes

I can contrast that with the amount of time it takes to reset the IWC perpetual - much longer, but I think that's because I got warned not to go crazy turning it, in case something goes awry, or you go too far, it's a $1000 repair... at least with the UN you can turn the calendar backwards rather than letting the watch run down and the days go by til it's correct. :-(

For all the pandemic I have not worn my beloved GMT Perpetual. A few days ago, I retrieved it from the bank vault to wear it through this New Year's dial showed January 27, 2020, so nearly three years separated the watch and today. So I started to whirl ...

Great watch !

... and due to its larger crown, also is quicker to be set than my classic GMT Perpetual. Marcus

After year of not wearing it to be tedious and damaging to my fingers.

Yes, for example the tiny crowns of the first Trilogy series

I still hesitate to set my Plentarium after at least four years of not wearing it. I know, there will be blisters. Marcus

What a wonderful watch, Marcus!

And this RG version with this very harmonious dial is tasteful and … timeless. A marvel. Many of us know how underrated UN is. I am waiting for the next „big release“ that … flashes me. Then I will probably pull the trigger. All the best and wear this gem...

Hi Marcus, I remember your great article up "a Perpetual Love Story" and all the other great write ups regarding UN watches. I bought my Marine Perpetual LTD in 2009 and I was absorbed by everything that was written about UN1s perpetual watches. You wrote...

This is indeed a surprising find!

Could it be that the base plates are compatible? Marcus

Full circle then?

 By: Denes_Papp : January 22nd, 2023-00:42
That would be interesting. It would mean that UN went full circle. Bought rights from Lemania to make the UN 33. Then getting the same eBay he from Lemania. It sounds a little too complicated to me. BTW why don’t you keep your watches on wonders, then you...

Watch winders: No running, no wear

 By: Marcus Hanke : January 22nd, 2023-15:25
I have been through that. First, I have too many watches for winders, and second, running movements have wear, which means shorter service intervals. Marcus
