... in spite of its small size, the predecessor was highly popular, and due to the high demand even had to reenter production, after it was internally discontinued already. In its more contemporary size, I am positive that many will be interested in it.
the other simple Classico watches in gold cases are also very nice. Due to the last years' trend to always larger watches with always more complex dials and complicated cases, there is not much competition left in the segment of the very simple, highly elegant, but also practical watches with date and three hands. Girard-Perregaux, Chopard, and a few others come to my mind. While these are using inhouse movements, the UN has the advantage of being proven, reliable and ready to be serviced and repaired by any able watchmaker. Supply of 2892 parts should be ample.

While you are right that the former Acqua appeared rather thick in relation to the diameter, 45mm are quite a lot. Yet I am less worried about the case itself, but about the new crown design. It is very attractive, but a) highly difficult to get a grip at...

I now prefer the wave pattern on the dial ....

The bracelet is not entirely made of titanium, so I was told via an email communication with UN's customer support.
