And to me, it’s probably the most attractive watch in the entire Blast line. Although, at the same time defeating the purpose of the original design which I think is a very open, transparent movement architecture.

Absolutely! Much more legible with the dreaded X mostly ghosted out.

I can only say this is a step in the right direction for Ulysse Nardin. And I will reiterate what I have recommended for years - get rid of the large X on every dial, and stop telling me you can only use Roman numerals for your brand identity. And if you ...

It doesn't take any revolution to design a modern watch, the matte glass in a nice choice and it fills the excessive void of that nonsense X-squared baseplate. Once again, the limited editions designed by non watchmaking people are better than the regular... 

It leaves me deeply unimpressed.

Looks more like the first design experiment of a designer freshman than the new release of a storied Swiss watcch brand.
