The tropical aspect of it is not obvious, at least to me!

Happy to own one smile

Which went for... CHF 60, 000... That was a big surprise, to tell the truth. Ok, it has a tropical dial. Ok, the condition is superb, and the tropical dial nice looking, and the diameter excellent for that kind of Chronograph ( 38 mm ). But still... CHF 6...

Tropical ?

I saw it in person

and it was really really special in its ressemblance to a Daytona, yet unique details ( black anodized bezel, concentric lines on the bezel insert , bigger size ... etc) I loved it. it just takes 2 bidders to love it to increase winning bid.....

Super watch-- probably much rarer than a Daytona.

in person the dial was more 'aubergine' / eggplant color, not chocolate or brown at all. I would have hesitated calling it tropical for sure, but was really really a super nice piece.

Wow. Someone really loved it.
