this piece still amazes me. Ludwig Oechslin is a horologic mastermind! Its my favorite piece in the

trilogy set but the other two are also very special watches.

amazing ! Which indicator shows equinox ?

The metal wire running from left to right shows the area of the earth in daylight. Sun is at 12.

The wire bends down as the angle of the earth changes and the North Pole moves into permanent light. At each equinox the wire will be straight. When the wire is deflected upwards it shows the North Pole is in permanent darkness. The Cloisonné dial rotates...
