We walked a tourist mile today - along the Tidelands Park boardwalk on the Eastern side of Coronado. This is home to sports fields, some apartments, condominiums, restaurants and the ferry terminal. Across the bay are the San Diego Convention Center, Dole...

Today started off a bit rocky when we went to walk in a long thin park on the mainland. Let's just say it didn't feel like a "safe neighborhood" to us, so we beat it over the bridge to Coronado, where a cacaphony of mowers and blowers momentarily discoura...

Really love the bird pics, especially the hummingbirds. And the smiling lizard was spot on. What is interesting is the strong military presence in the same area as the water leisure activities, or so it seems.

Big and small Public and private Commercial (car carrier) and recreational Rich or poor Tourists Or working folks Some however have priority use of the bay. I classify them by horsepower, tonnage and firepower. Mike ...  

Hawaii, maybe. But the scope of various Bay-based groups and activities is so much larger than I initially thought.
