Did you notice how much right English I applied to the cue ball? Without it . . .
. . . it's practically impossible to make the shot unless the object ball is hit perfectly. My initial thought was to bank the shot, but making the extreme cut was more likely. 🎱

Juma is really soft
Isn't it an unusual choice of material for a joint collar? I thought Juma being a thermoplastic and one that is flexible, it would make for a soft hit.
Relative to elk horn, yes . . .
[elk horn joint / BRW forearm] . . . but usually employed in Denali cues only at one point in the juncture. The incoming cue has a juma joint on the forearm, but the shaft joint will be a natural material. 😉 And, in the few cues that employ juma or linen ...

The world of custom cues is vast with a potential for a cue design to meet every purpose infinitely. I think it is amazing Bob Flynn has so many options for you to make almost anything you want short of inlays.
