So far, I haven't been a big fan of the Daniel Craig era Bond films.

Casino Royale was FANTASTIC.  I was floored!  It was great; a great Bond, a great villain, and a great portrayal by all the actors.  I could really sink my teeth into this movie.  The second one, Quantum of Solace, was pretty awful.  The third Skyfall, was mediocre, and it strayed too far from the normal "Bond movie formula" and became a partial origin story (that just wasn't satisfying).  Spectre was interesting, but mediocre.  But hey!  These are just my opinions...  Lastly, I don't blame Craig, his acting and portrayal has been satisfactory and even exemplary.  But, the writers have definitely strayed from the usual formula (Bond, Villain, Bond Girl, Bond Girl double crosses, damsel in distress, a few cheeky quirky lines with puns) and added some origin stories unsucessfully (origin story of Bond's parents in Skyfall and of Spectre's villains in Spectre).  The villain's background story in Skyfall was never well explained.

If you’ve seen it what do you think? ...

Lots of fights, car chases, and bullets...

Tastefully done. 😉

Worst of the Daniel Craig Bond movies IMO

And Craig is my favorite Bond. For any Bond fan, it's still worth a viewing. The ending was interesting, to say the least.

To say the least.

To me all (almost) Bond movies are great and some are greater. I’ve really enjoyed Craig as Bond and that, I think, has colored my opinion of his 5 movies. I like them all and (heresy-I know) I think he’s been the best Bond. I’m very okay with the franchi...

Not only my favorite Bond movie by far but among my favorite movies from the 2000's.

Agreed. Brosnan wasn't bad. But I only liked the "Tomorrow Never Dies" 1997 and the last one he did "Die Another Day" 2002.

But yes, Casino Royale was the best Bond movie in the past 20 years by far!

Every Bond film needs a beautiful lady who's a double agent!

And some of the Daniel Craig ones are missing a well developed double agent role.

To make it simple,

want to sort out for myself if the things that bugged me initially will keep irritating me. That is to say, I want to like it more than I did. Script issues. Craig's acting, for one, is outstanding I think and so are the fight scenes. You rarely get to se...

A magnificent piece of art!

And that scene with the Swedish actress in Jakarta is just superb!

As a true die hard Bond fan, I consider this to be a total flop. Perhaps a little to grown up for me. Not enough gadgets and really nothing new. The villain was poor.

yes a few a good action scenes. I have discussed this extensively with friends. I understand that if you are not a bond fan per se, this is a fantastic film. But if you grew up with the Connery films, this one does not fit the bill. Just my view and I acc...

Seems polarizing, and everything in between.

With one pproviso, I thought it was terrific. I have enjoyed the epical change in tone exhibited by the Graig Bond vs. the earlier ones. He is of his time.

Well we’re on the same page.

I’ve mixed feelings. I have loved Craig as Bond. And though, like many, I disliked Spectre when I first saw it, it’s surprisingly grown to be my favorite Bond film. In my opinion it was a strong film, and truly moving at parts, but not exactly a Bond film...
