About watches and tequila. But I recognize there are other brands that are worth trying!

Don Julio is not so stout and very palatable.

Best regards.

Tamales and chiles en nogada are exquisite!!! When you visit Mexico City, I know a great place for chiles en nogada, it is even called “The Cathedral of Chiles en Nogada”. Best. René

I've pretty much quit drinking altogether in the last year, but . . .

. . . when I was, tequila was my spirit of choice in the same sense Omega is my manufacturer of choice. Porfidio was my favorite, but haven't seen a bottle in so long I fear they've gone out of business. Don Julio 1942 is my current favorite. Salud, Art

What I was trying to convey is that although I seldom venture away from Omega . . .

. . . I always come back to them. The same with tequila - I'd have bourbon or vodka on occasion, but nine times out of ten it's tequila. Have I mentioned my philosophy of life lately? "Drive German, eat Italian, and drink Mexican - you can't go wrong."

I like your philosophy of life, Art!

It is nice to have options to try occasionally, but stick to the best tried values. Vintage Omega is a mostly unexplored and misterious land! I really love that you can still discover many obscure but beautiful references! I’m looking for a vintage Seamas...

By the way, Salud!

I’ve never tasted Porfidio, but I’ll keep my eyes open. You never know what you can find in old stores in downtown Mexico City! Best. René

As you know, bad words are also part of our culture 😅
