It's simply that no LA chef has wanted to come down here and that no local chef has thought that it would be worth the money to do.
I have seen a local pizza place and a fish taco truck (both so-so) and only at events - that's it!

We get about 2-3 trucks a day at my office. :-)
Yesterday was BBQ, today is French crepes and something else (can't remember), Friday is Brazilian food and the bacon truck may come, as well. Hope you get trucks soon, Snak! Cheers, Daos

Sweet & salty is a classic combo.
The brownie with Nutella and bacon was great. My other favorite salt/sweet pairing is caramel with fleur de sel. There's a little confectionary in Pasadena called Little Flower Candy Company that makes great French-style salt caramels that are to die for!...
