Chrissie Hynde was once married to Jim Kerr (during the heyday).
She still pulls off great music today. Great band, songs and songwriting.

Agreed, Simple Minds was a real favorite.
I remember seeing them in concert about 8 or 9 years ago in NY with Howard Jones and Culture Club. Their songs always give me a nostalgic feeling. Seems as though they have a new album and Euro tour underway.
