. . . cooking don't mix, or, as Bullwinkle would say, accidental guacamole on a lens is a bitch!

Food was great and I munched away all night. Wonderful people and community. I don't think anyone of us had cameras except Andrew, so hopefully Andrew has some pictures to share later. Cheers, Anthony

I got off the plane only 2 hours ago (this time zone and seasonal shift is a killer), so give me a little while to 'process' the pictures. However, I think I spent more time chatting that snapping. Still, it was fantastic to meet all who attended after ye... 

Fun seeing everyone. I did manage to take a few shots. Dr. No brought the avocados and proceeded to make an outstanding guacamole The guac was darn near hallucinogenic! Those handmade sausages were incredible Dr. No wore a fine vintage Omega Constellation...  

I've heard it called many things but never hallucinogenic... Art can I have that recipe? Sounds like ya'll had a great time, I wish I could have gone also. Fondly, Helen

As I enjoy a really Mole... Chicken Mole, that is. That rich chocolate sauce (my favorite recipe also uses a little peanut butter) that gets cooked into a chicken dish. Native to Puebla, Mexico.

Look what I saw today at the grocery store! We'll have to come up with another clever name. :-O Daos...

Art, If you don’t like the skin of the Roma tomatoes in your guacamole dip, they are easy to peel. Just parboil them for a minute or so; enough to blister the skin. Then simply peel the skin off, dice and add to your avocadoes. I wish I could have been th... 

. . . but you've got to remove most of the seeds and veins from the jalapeños unless you're a glutton for punishment! PS - I make marinara sauce, too!

Many thanks to MKVC for hosting this BBQ and GTG! Many thanks to the individuals who came from so far to be with the rest of us at the GTG! I had a great time seeing everyone again! It's been quite a while and it is a true pleasure to be able to meet ever... 

The hosts, organizers, and attendees all deserve thanks for another great Purists event. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones.

And thanks for the ride home, Mark. In a town full of Ferrari's, Lambo's, Bentley's and a raft of other exotics, the Rover was a highlight! Andrew

But I must apologize again for how filthy it was. Just because it looks proper when covered in dirt shouldn't be an excuse for my being too lazy to wash it!
