Not quite that tenure but…
My first game was at Plough Lane at the start of the 90/91 season. I’d been a red for about 6 years at that point. It was several years later before I got to Anfield (London was an easier destination, and so I’d seen some other away games before I finally got to a home game).
I went to Uni for a year not too far away in 96/97 so that season I got to Anfield a decent few times.
Fingers crossed I’ll get to a home game next season.

I lived in Britain for 23 years and never made it to Anfield ☹️. It gets worse, I hade a mate who loved United and he took me to a game. How many Liverpool fans can say they’ve been to Old Trafford but not Anfield? 😳. I am so embarrassed!
