No way anyone could eat this stuff on a regular basis...
...not even a bacon-head like me. 
The themes of moths and bacon just came about because that's what Reign and I have been seeing together. No hidden subtext there! Reign is very good at "stay." He is one of the best in his class at that drill. He has about 3 weeks left of advanced obedience class. I'm not sure where we go from there. I'm thinking about training him to pass the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test. If he does, then he'll be known as Thornwood's Once And Future King CGC. We'll see how it goes. One day at a time. I'll be happy if I can get him to stop tearing up the plants.

Someone who doesn't tear up the plants and eat the back yard? Or don't you tell them that bit? ;-) But after 40+ years of obedience testing, I couldn't sit still for bacon. So he's doing OK in my book. A

Puzzles me
It's simply that no LA chef has wanted to come down here and that no local chef has thought that it would be worth the money to do. I have seen a local pizza place and a fish taco truck (both so-so) and only at events - that's it! I've heard that 20 truck...
We get about 2-3 trucks a day at my office. :-)

Sweet & salty is a classic combo.
The brownie with Nutella and bacon was great. My other favorite salt/sweet pairing is caramel with fleur de sel. There's a little confectionary in Pasadena called Little Flower Candy Company that makes great French-style salt caramels that are to die for!...
