My two observations for the day on these changing times....
Mar 27, 2020,15:46 PM
(1) Adapting to always-home offices. With three young girls, ages 3 up to 10, the following sign has made its way above my home-office door to assist with calls. I thought I was being clever with an order from Amazon, a few wires, and a bluetooth-enabled switch under my desk.
Trouble is, they don't bother to notice when it's on. Time for some extracurricular 'change management' courses for them over the weekends.
Memo to self: Darwin was right about the pace of evolution.
(2) The run on grocery stores isn't always equal, but it can suggest how close we're getting to the Zombie Apocalypse (eat your heart out, Dr Manhattan and the Doomsday Clock).
First they came for the greens and veggies...
...then they came for the milk and frozen dinners...
...then they came for the meet and cheese...
...then it was the fruit juice...
...finally they came for the Ice Cream. The ultimate End-of-Days comfort food. The end is nigh.
