. . . I'd fly to Covina! Busy today, tomorrow's the pool tournament, Thursday's taken up by a scheduled visit to a pawn shop supposedly loaded with vintage Omegas. So Friday's the earliest. ;-)

Will keep your mind occupied ;-))

For starters, there's an excellent Ω ref 176.002 . . . .

 By: Dr No : October 15th, 2019-12:22
. . . Speedmaster Mk III to be had that I've already seen, not to mention a ref 2982 Genève. And there's supposed to be many more.

Don’t forget...

Who is building this cue? It looks beautiful. Are you a collector of pool / billiards memorabilia? Do you use such beautiful cues in competition?

. . . all my cues personally. He's a one-man operation. And yes, I use his cues in competition.

Very beautiful!

I have been shooting with TAD cues for a long time here in Southern California. I will have to give Denali a call. They are doing really great work! Thanks for the information!

I've played with a vintage Tad Kohara cue once . . .

. . . that belongs to an acquaintance. Here's Jim shooting a four-rail kick with the Tad . . . . . . and me shooting a four-rail bank with the same cue. Plush feedback, as I recall. Smoother than a milkshake! Art

There are purpleheart, maple, and oak shafts in my collection . . .

. . . but this will be the first walnut shaft ever. Not a common shaft wood . . . curious as to how it will turn out. Do you play pool, Massi?

Beautiful cue

I don't want to date myself. "Back in my time" (another continent...just after they separated), the cue to have was a Silver Fox. Anybody who aspired to tournament play in snooker/billiards would get a Silver Fox and then walk proudly to the club with the...

Sorry, never heard of Silver Fox cues. Familiar with . . .

. . . legendary American cue makers of the past - Frank Paradise, Gus Szamboti, Herman Rambow, Burton Spain, Tad Kohara, and of course, George Balabushka - not to mention Jerry Franklin (now deceased but his company is still in operation) and Ernie Gutier...

Excellent Art!

How many ounces?

Not sure. I'll ask Friday, but . . .

. . . balance and resonance are more meaningful in defining playing characteristics than gross weight, in my experience. Cordially, Art

Thanks! It's amazing how three different types of wood . . .
