Meat Loaf has left the building …

Meat Loaf has passed away.

Born Marvin Lee Aday, he sold 100 million albums worldwide and also appeared in movies like Fight Club, the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Wayne's World.

The music lives on, fair well and rest in peace.

. . . my girlfriend. We were seated at table #5. After a few minutes, she leaned over to whisper, "Isn't that Meatloaf?" I glanced over to my right. Sure enough, it was Meatloaf at table #19 with his date. 🙂

What kinda' nut goes to a high line joint and knows the table numbers?

If you're ever in Cleveland, Johnny's Bar on Fulton is the best veal in the city. Ask Bo for table #12 ;-)

Sad news. RIP.

My Uncle - the one with the '69 E-Type - gave me his Bat out of Hell record in the early 80s. I loved it and became a fan at that point. I know what will be on my playlist today. RIP, Meat Loaf.

I'm surprised he lasted this long...

Todd Rundrgen was the only one to recognise his genius at the time and produced bat out of hell when no studio wanted it....
