Last November I got the message "There's 12000+ in front of you" . . .

. . . when I logged into Ticketmaster for Rolling Stones tickets. No worries, as I was able to snag VIP seats for both Vegas and LA when my turn came 35 minutes later. $1500 a pop, and happy to get them.
Two days later, at precisely 11 AM, I logged back in to see if there were tickets available for any other shows I could possibly make. Apparently just at that moment they'd loaded tickets for the second LA show that hadn't yet been announced. The message read "There's 6 in front of you."
Half a minute later I scored two seats for the second - and as yet unannounced - LA Stones show. For $1000 each.
When we were at the second show, timerider said he overheard the guy seated next to him saying he'd paid $1500 apiece for his tickets. So apparently I stumbled into the line at just the right moment when insiders were scoring tickets at a discount.
Tell me that's not the sweetest deal of all time!
