Hello all!
I'm not as well traveled as some of the PuristS on this forum but when I do go on a trip I like to pick up little souvenirs. It may be touristy junk for some but for me it reminds me of the fun and wonderful adventures that I had.
Does anyone else collect trinkets when traveling? Here are some of mine:

Eiffel Tower
Ming: The Eiffel Tower as a souvenir brings to mind "The Lavender Hill Mob" (early 1950's comedy movie starring Alec Guinness). The reminder brought a smile. Thanks Harv

Most of these are vintage
Cheating a bit. I bought 3 of them (all metal), but the rest came from my French grandmother and from vintage stores. I still try and kep my eye out for an old one. Sad that they are plastic now. This message has been edited by mrsnak on 2010-03-11 18:47:...

I always bring back a rock from a new place I've visited, write the name of the place on it and place it in a jar on my shelf. It's a fun thing to do to look for the perfect rock, doesn't cost anything or take up much space. Once some movers broke my jar ...
