I can imagine this scenario...

Harrods sells these shoes. A shopper buys these shoes and probably pays 1000 Pounds for them along with an outfit to complement the shoes. Client comes back the next day to Harrods and does some more shopping at the same department store in his "grungiest" streetwear outfit. Security is called, security escorts the Client outside where he's informed he's not dressed appropriately to shop at Harrods. Client complains! "Wait! I bought this outfit at Harrods only yesterday! Go see your own Mannequin on the Second Floor!" Profuse apologies ensue...

On Porsche cars, you have to pay more money for the "lightweight" versions. Where they remove the radio and the air conditioner (and even the door handles) to save weight. Here, they charge you more money for something more "'distressed."

And the best part... If they weren't distressed, they'd cost less! Surprised the shoes are made in China! I would think they were made in Italy or Spain, and then distressed in China!
Yes...

The workers are probably wondering, "who in the world would want this?"
In a past life I was in the men's clothing business,

a woman came in with a pair of her husband's shoes he had asked her to return (he was probably to embarrassed). Honest to God they looked almost as bad as these, the kicker was she said he had only worn them "once".
Wow... Just wow...

I'm assuming they weren't sold "distressed" when new...
I see...

That's too bad... Definitely some people take way too much advantage of a returns policy. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but goodness, some people are awful!
