They seem fragile but are tough, aggressive little animals, even so this is the 3rd or 4th hummingbird I’ve held in my hand, and they seem so sweet and unafraid of me. Mike

Judging from the debris in the “studio apartment” the young bird and his momma were partying there for awhile. They are gone today… The other baby, #2, is still there, taking up 90% of the original nest. No wonder one of them had to leave! I suspect Baby ...

I finally saw the mother when she divebombed me for going near the bird in the nest. And then I got her on film! WRONG- I got the little guy who left early on film. He's been sitting up here for 3 days. Here it is about 30 feet away and 15-18 feet up. Wai...
