Garage Project accomplished...
Jan 30, 2021,15:20 PM
Always wanted to upgrade the looks of the concrete floor and install cabinets in my 3-car garage.
Finally got a nice 7-weeks sabbatical break during last month and finished to my liking and expectations.
Best of all, it cost less than an Omega Moonwatch but the satisfaction is priceless.
Donβt we love our man caves?
A detail plan on the materials needed is crucial
Start by cleaning the garage
It is easier than I expected, no tools necessary, just need a pair of strong legs π
8 hrs for the floors and 6 hrs for the cabinets, with the help of my son and my boss (partially) ππ»

I epoxied my floor about 10 years ago and it needs another coat or two β maybe that flooring is a better idea. It makes the garage look bigger, but is it really bigger and able to hold more cars? (I wish)! Cazalea
The single side is deep and tall enough to have a car lift...

But the double side after the garage doors open may not be an option. Maybe some day, but for now, Iβm not sure I need more cars ...Wife retired, son going to college and Iβm 30-40% work from home, and work is 2 miles each way π
Spectacular results! Wow!

Man caves are so cool! I did my garage last year with porcelain tiles including the first 5 feet on the wall and am so happy with it. Love how much space you have in yours! Enjoy!
Thanks ππ»

Now I have to find some nice posters to hang on the walls. Hopefully I can sustain the tidiness and cleanliness, haha.
That idea came up too...and it will look awesome.

Have you ever tried to get a pool table . . .
By: Dr No : January 30th, 2021-21:43
. . . with a one-piece slate into a basement? And if you think that's tough, try getting one out. My one-piece slate Delta table came out of a friend's basement. Barely. And it took a six-man crew.
nice work

Iβm waiting for Plaid....and maybe that roadster. The idea would be to basically build a new Tesla garage wired for at least two cars with solar. Do their high end cars interest you?

By: myles721 : January 31st, 2021-08:03
I asked because I was in the car with my wife yesterday and asked her when the last time either of us drove more than 150 miles in one shot was and neither of us could remember.

They updates features and softwares seems too often and I wonder if these follow any safety regulations? I still prefer old school and some engines in my cars, to be honest.

Most garages will look good if itβs neat and clean too. Thank you.
Nicely done! Do the tiles cut easily for trimming?
By: MichaelC : January 31st, 2021-06:49
I used 1/2" thick rubber matts in a few areas of my home that lock together. They are quite heavy, and sit wonderfully flat. They trimmed rather easily, with several passes of a sharp utility blade. I mostly create my own built-ins and racking, but I have...
