Fountain Pen Hospital—I try to stop by anytime I am in NYC. It is under new ownership, but the store still looks the same!

Ahh! Very nice. I only go for M800 sized or above pens. M600 is a little small for me.

But yes, I even have difficulty resisting.

Love FPH!

Always visit when possible while visiting NYC. One of my early purchases... ...

Unless I’m mistaken, Waterman no longer makes those specific color mixes (?)

and as you’re aware, Waterman Blue is a gold standard for FP enthusiasts +++

Correct, the Havane is no longer made. The Havane has a wonderful personality depending on nib. Could be dark brown, or when 'thin' nice hints of maroon.

And yes, the blue is like visions of the Maldives waters, still available too. Also have Encre Bleu Serenite for darker blue 'needs', yet the Maldives seems more 'playful' and welcoming.

Serenity Blue is great and a worldwide standard. The lighter blue above is very playful!

I'm trying to use up my Parker blue up quickly so I can switch over! Pilot Iroshizuku's Asa Gao seems nice too!

Thanks for the picture!

That’s somewhere I would definitely like to visit. All the best, Jon

To visit FPH is always a big treat for pen lovers. I´ve been a customer for a long time buying by mail and visited two or three times. I didn´t know about the change of ownership thought.

Regret to say it is the last pen shop in New York and I wish it will keep being there for many many years more. Thank you for sharing this shot orahu! It makes me wish to visit again! Best cordial regards, Abel
