Nice pics. Still has the most record sales of any entertainer, 41.5 years after his death. My family meet him in Las Vegas when I was 11. He was wearing the white leather jumpsuit! My cousin was his fan club president!

Can you tell us anymore ?

I was very intimidated at first. He was very nice, too. He really seemed interested in how my twin brother and I were doing in school. At some point I told him that I played drums and guitar. Met Ron Tutt, his drummer and James Burton the guitar player! W... 

What year was this ?

Saw him in concert three more times. The last one was in 1976.

did you feel that he had an incredible presence ?

I can remember what was described to me years later as his "confidence." I sure knew this was a special person by the way he carried himself. I was awestruck for sure.

In films of his live shows. Just look at how the ladies in the audience react.
