I do like the Operator a huge deal! And there is no dispute that both S.A. and Baer 1911s are nothing short of excellent. My impression however from purely looking at the guns and never actually using either is that the Infinity 1911s are a notch above in material quality and finish from pretty much anything else that I've ever seen. That certainly doesn't mean they shoot any better (it's all up to the shooter 
), but they look extraordinary. Great pic again 
. Honestly, I don't know why I held out from visiting the Infinity website up to this point in the first place. I guess that subconsciously I knew it would change my mind and make me wish to purchase the even more expensive variants .

SVI aka Infinity (the frame is also known as the STI/CMC/McCormick as they have a intertwined history). It's the same brand as the one in my Avatar. I believe Brownells (I recalled you got the new catalog right?) lists only STI frames now. -MW

I might actually get easily killed if a gunfight ever erupted and I had such a 1911 on me because I would first have to take a long (okay, very long) admiring glance at the finish before pointing the gun anywhere LMAO . And after spending the better part ...

The gunbuilder is cool but options for you on a new Infinity is limited due to Cali state law. Nothing wrong with a nicely setup Springfield or Les Baer. -MW

Is actually the html code that is generated when you upload a picture. It's the way I see it. Preview and when you post it should show it correctly.

i sometimes get this html text instead of a pic when i get email alerts from a thread that other people post. strange, but true. i dont consider that a problem as i just go to the original thread to read it and look at all the pretty pictures. G

Since you are familiar with photobucket, once you are logged in and looking at your 'ALBUM', find the photo you would like to post. With your mouse, put the pointer over the pic you want and it will pop up a box under the photo. Under the SHARE/EDIT/DELET...
